Our local and loved elementary school is  Falling Water Elementary  

     located  just 1000 feet from our entrance.    It typically scores in the top

     one-fifth of  all local elementary schools.

•  Had the highest scores of all HCDE high schools in all State math exams

   10.8 points above the next closest school in geometry;  14.6 points above the system average

   3.7 points above the next closest school in Algebra II;  11.1 points above the system average

  2.9 points above the next closest school in Algebra I;  7.8 points above the system average

•  Had the highest ACT scores of all HCDE high schools.  The only   HCDE  high school to score above the national average
•  On the State Report Card:

  "A" on SAT score

  "A" on Wrighting Assessment

  "A" on Attendance

  "A" on State Competency Test/Math

  "A" on State Competency Test/Language

•  SDHS is the Tennessee State Model for high school Character Education
•  Designated as a Model "Renaissance School" for the Nation
